Salón Marisol is owned and run by Marisol who moved from Ecuador to Kentish Town in 2009 alongside her husband Steve and son Matias.
Marisol worked as a senior stylist in London for over 7 years before opening her own salon, working towards her NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing.
After gaining the experience of working as a stylist in London, a loyal clientele and a qualification to match, Marisol decided it was time to open her own space and eagerly took the opportunity to do so in Kentish Town.
In Marisol's own words "Kentish Town is a special place to live, I meet so many nice, interesting and friendly people, it's wonderful to now work here too".
Salón Marisol is a cosy space where Marisol finds her clients really relax and open up, she prides herself on being able to truly connect with her customers and achieve the exact look they want from their hairstyle.
She sets the scene with some Latin music and for a few moments, you really can feel yourself melting into the hairdressing chair and escaping to another place, a unique and special feeling to have at the hairdressers.
Marisol also often finds herself speaking Spanish with customers who are keen to learn or brush up on their language skills...
